I'm transparent about my favorite vendors, as we are going to visit Showrooms, and you'll be able to test out the furniture before customizing/ordering it. Of course I have over 150+ vendors & my favorite custom local artists I can source from as well. I'll explain everything, and measure/design this for you and alongside with you. I'll want you to test the major pieces, and get your feedback on that. Then leave the details of the other items to me.. That will be part of the fun of Design Presentation Day! If you want any swap outs, we will do that and send back to you. Most people love the original design as we go over things in detail, and might only swap out a few small things.

What Does it Cost to Furnish a Room?

Furniture Design Consult Budget Range/Room:

Living- $15,000-$25,000

Custom Sofa Range- $3,000-$8,000

Bedroom- $8,000-$15,000

Dining- $8,000-$15,000

Office- $8,000-$15,000

Outdoor- $8,000-$15,000

A lot of factors go into my average budget range tiers above.. type of space, sq. ft of the space, style, cost of quality preferred vendors, level of customization, and # of pieces needed to complete the space.. assuming you have nothing! I prefer empty spaces, but can work with existing pieces or heirloom pieces, etc. If you have inspiration pieces that is great. Any lower budget & you should look at (cover your ears) Wayfair & Amazon online or piece it together yourself over time. I can get you a quality stylized design with custom furniture based on the ranges above showcased in the last 50+ designs I've completed in the "Furniture Portfolio".

Afterall, almost everyone wants the best they can get on a reasonable-average budget, and I'm bringing exactly that to you. Now you finally get nice quality custom furniture and pieces that will last a lifetime.. or until you call me again for a refresh in 10-15 years! You will be able to brag to your friends about these brands, and how you now know all about luxury furniture & the latest interior design trends. You're going to love your pieces, and have so much pride in ownership. I have amazing relationships with my vendors, and do pass along my vendor discounts & manufacturer warranties. I've actually worked for these companies so I can vouch for their craftsmanship, durability, & longevity. I also listen to your needs, and always recommend performance fabrics for easy maintenance. The sofa vendor I use has their own warranty team that will come out to clean stains if you can't get it out for example. So rest assured, I've done my market research, and this is the average amount of money you'll need per room you design with Kate Decor.

Though if you do have more, higher budgets do get fancier design elements depending on your style like custom original artwork, one-of-a-kind finds, unique lighting, tile mosaics, high-end wallpaper, 3 finger inverted pleated custom drapery, custom pillows, etc...the possibilities are endless. I have designed $4-5million new-build custom homes so if this is you & we're needing to do the entire home we can discuss the budget and do a tailored design unique to your aesthetic! I have so many ideas saved for special projects & styles, and you can probably see from my portfolio work that I'm an eccentric type of Designer, so you can't surprise me with any style blend request.
